This is a great summary, and adds a few points to my understanding, thank you. Back when you wrote this, I was carefully studying Beck and Cowan's book — the section on the Alpha -> Beta -> Gamma -> Delta societal transition model. We were going through the early part of Trump II, and I could not figure out what to even... do about it. But the idea of being in Deep Gamma made a lot of sense.

One of the qualities of this stuff is that you can see a lot, but not understand why you are different. You can be gifted, but being gifted can be very hard (e.g., if you see how everything is connected, and you want to explain it to others, but they look at you blankly). But this system has helped me a great deal, ever since I discovered it.

I still work to try to understand how other people think, and what I can do to put things in their terms — to speak across modes of understanding. I have labored under a particular misconception — that when I understand something (it is a good, coherent idea in my mind), I can just translate that into well-crafted words, and the other person will go "Oh, wow! Got it!" It ignores so much, and it's taken a long time to learn more about the processes by which people move from an intellectual understanding to an embodied understanding. It is a fascinating subject, but it's another layer I was not expecting — ah well!
